As a State Delegate and/or County Delegate you have the responsibility to vote for candidates for several important positions in our party. It’s important you make time to attend the organizing convention(s) to make these important votes for your precinct. It’s also important to understand these positions so you can make the best evaluation of the candidates running for these positions.

State Party Chair
The State Party Chair serves as the head executive of the state party, and speaks on behalf of the party. They also serve as the chair of the State Central Committee, and the State Executive Committee. The term of office is two years.
State Party Vice-Chair
The State Party Vice-Chair assists the Chair in his or her duties and performs the Chair’s duties in the Chair’s absence. The term of office is two years.
State Party Secretary
The Secretary shall provide required notice, minutes and attendance records of the State Central Committee, State Executive Committee, and the State Convention. The term of office is two years.
State Party Treasurer
The State Party Treasurer keeps and maintains the financial records of the party, and is a member of the Budget and Finance Committee. The term of office is two years.
